Overview

GlobalDex ("we", "our") provides a website scanning service at globaldex.ai and a Chrome Extension. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

Data We Collect

• URLs you scan: When you submit a URL for scanning, we store the domain name and scan results in our database. This is necessary to provide the leaderboard and caching features.
• No personal data: We do not collect your name, email address, IP address, or any other personally identifiable information.
• No tracking: We do not use cookies, analytics trackers, or advertising networks.

Chrome Extension

• The extension reads the URL of the current tab solely to submit it for scanning.
• Scan results are cached locally in your browser using chrome.storage.local.
• No browsing history, personal data, or page content is ever collected or transmitted.
• The extension communicates only with the GlobalDex API at globaldex.ai.

Third Parties

We do not sell, trade, or transfer any data to third parties. Scan results for individual domains are publicly visible on the GlobalDex leaderboard.
